Our New Eldership

Sandstone has been praying for our eldership to be restored this past year and we have been truly blessed with four wonderful men. They are Rolland Herrod, Lou Anderson, Sonny Sears and Mike Steiner.

Please continue to pray for these men and our congregation as we strive to expand His Kingdom!

The purpose of the Sandstone Drive congregation of The Lord's Church is to call all people to God. The God we call people to is most perfectly seen in Jesus Christ.   It is our task to imitate Him.

We believe Sandstone Drive is one of thousands of congregations of the Churches of Christ around the world. We know that we are not only Christians but we seek to be Christians only.    We desire to speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent.   We have no book but the Bible and no creed but Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God.

Our message is that Jesus the Christ is the son of the living God. The Church belongs to Him. We have no authority to change His teachings or in any way take way His authority. We are non-denominational with no outside institution to determine our policies.

We seek unity and restoration of the Church as delivered into the guidance of the apostles in the first century. We seek to be one in Christ with all the others whom He calls His own. We attempt to imitate the New Testament precedents.
Plan of Salvation

found only in the Bible

Matthew 28:19-20

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you..."

The members at Sandstone Drive are taking our faith outside the church building and into the surrounding neighborhoods.

If you know of anyone needing groceries, a ride to the doctor, minor repairs to their home/car, Bible correspondence materials, prayers or Bible study to answer questions, please contact us. We would love to hear from you!

Our New Pulpit Minister

Sandstone is very excited to have Michael Banks and his family come to work with us. Michael and his wife, Deborah, have nine wonderful children that will greatly help our youth group by faith and example. We look forward to the new year (2008) as we ask the Lord to help us expand His Kingdom with the Banks Family's help.
