EDUCATION AT SANDSTONE

(Pre-School Class)

Children are a reward (or gift) from God (Psalm 127:3) and as such, the staff of the Bible Education Department is to help our children develop and mature in a love for God and obedience.

Nursery Class

Teachers: Mrs. Barbara Blue and Mrs. Nina Bateman

Aim: To help our babies learn to be away from their parents The teachers try to make the class interesting and enjoyable for infants with songs, toys and loving care.

2 & 3 Year Olds Class

Teachers: Mrs. Wanda Warner, Mrs. Marie Allison and Mrs. Lillian Williams

Aim: Even though a little more advanced that the nursery class, the teachers try to make this a happy place to come and an enjoyable learning experience. Learning of simple Bible stories for this age group is accomplished by visual aids, puppets, songs and rhymes.

4 & 5 Year Olds Class

Teachers: Mr. & Mrs. Steve (Melissa) Renaurd and Mrs. Doris Sears

Aim: Teachers present more complex stories to teach the basics of Christianity including discipline and obedience. With lots of love, the teachers tell the Bible stories and enhance them with crafts, handwork, coloring and songs.
