HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT

The Youth Ministry at Sandstone Drive is for students in grades 7-12. Students are divided into classes of Jr. High (7-9) and Sr. High (10-12) for Bible classes on Sunday morning and Wednesday nights. The Youth Group is involved in activities that seek to strengthen them in their daily walk with God. We attend activities such as YOUTH IN ACTION in December and CHRISTEENS in Russelville, two youth rallies that take place in Jonesboro and Russelville respectively. We also take part in Area wide devotionals with other churches of Christ and service projects around the area. We also are involved in visitation. Every other week, the youth gather and visit members of our congregation to encourage and uplift them.

During the summer months, our teens are involved in various camps around the state. They attend and work at camps such as CAMP CAUDLE just outside of Russelville, UPLIFT at Harding University, and WYLDEWOOD in Searcy. We also take a mission trip either within the United States or outside of them. This year we will be going to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

The Youth Ministry at Sandstone Drive has THREE main goals:
1. To strengthen families and offer parents resources for raising children as God would have them do.
2. To assist teenagers in their development of a personal relationship with God and to challenge them to live their lives as Christ would want them to.
3. To model Christ and His ministry.
